Most of the webmaster generally won’t reveal these and want to keep the secrets with them, but I don’t believe in that.I believe knowledge meant to be distribute.So here is the method I use to follow to get traffic.

• Submit your blog URL to major search engine – It is very easy as you need to submit your blog to major search engine only; Google,MSN,yahoo,ask.they will add your url index and start sending visitors whoever search site your blog keyword.
• Social bookmarking site -  This is also a very useful way to get traffic to your blog.bookmark your blog to top social bookmarking site, get some friends there join new group relevant to your blog and it will certainly increase your traffic.Chk out the top 20 list of social Bookmarking sites here…
• Submit to Blog directories – This is very important part as… submitting your blog to blog directories gives you double benefits.first it gives your visitors and also it gives your backlinks.Backlinks means the sites which points to your blog, the more backlinks you have from quality pages your google PR(page rank) will be higher resulting in better position of your blog.A list of important blog directory to submit your blog is here
• Follow up comments -  Search on google and find blog which are similar in nature with you, you can comment on their post with link of your blog(but please do not spam, write only useful comments).You can also ask to exchange your link with them.
